This was the 3rd and final character design project from my Character Design class. The goal was to create a Guilty Gear character and emulate the Guilty Gear art style.
She's an elite warrior who carries around a shield attached to a broken sword. She throws the shield out and pulls it back like a yo-yo. The broken sword is a memento from her mother, and she refuses to part with it. When not in combat, she wears the shield like a hat. She's incredibly stern and has difficulty relaxing, because this she's regarded as an excellent leader, but difficult to befriend.
